Our journey began in February 2024 when we fulfilled our dream of restoring a historic 1891 farmhouse and putting our 43 acres of land to good use. What started as a passion for homesteading quickly grew into a commitment to sustainable farming and animal care.

Today, we raise cattle, hogs, chickens, and a beloved herd of miniature donkeys, which we breed and sell. Our farm is built on faith, hard work, and a love for the land, and we invite you to be part of our story. Whether you’re looking for a miniature donkey, fresh farm goods, or simply a glimpse into farm life, we welcome you to Chasing Dreams Farm – where dreams take root and grow.

Our Story

In February 2024, we fulfilled our lifelong dream by acquiring a historic 1891 farmhouse nestled on 43 acres along the Choptank River in Greensboro, Maryland. Our vision was to escape the hustle and bustle, embrace a simpler lifestyle, and create a sustainable homestead for our family.

Restoring the farmhouse was a labor of love. We meticulously preserved its original character, honoring the rich history embedded within its walls while incorporating modern comforts. This restoration not only revitalized the structure but also deepened our connection to the land and its storied past.

With the farmhouse renewed, we turned our attention to the land, aiming to cultivate a self-sufficient lifestyle. We began raising cattle, hogs, and chickens, providing our family with fresh, homegrown food. Additionally, we expanded our gardens, growing a variety of fruits and vegetables to further support our homesteading goals.

In early 2025, our journey took an unexpected and delightful turn. While searching for two miniature donkeys, we connected with the only registered donkey breeder on Maryland's Eastern Shore, who was retiring from the business. Sharing a deep admiration for these intelligent and charming animals, we seized the opportunity to acquire her entire herd. This marked the beginning of our newest adventure: breeding and raising miniature donkeys at Chasing Dreams Farm.

Our farm embodies the essence of following God's plan and trusting the process. Every step, from restoring the farmhouse to expanding our family with miniature donkeys, has been guided by faith, perseverance, and a commitment to living harmoniously with the land. At Chasing Dreams Farm, we continue to nurture our dreams, cultivate our passions, and share the fruits of our labor with our community.
